Portfolio Two

5/12 - These three poems were written over the course of the second semester, spanning 1/30 - 5/12. They were in response to assignments for a free verse poem, a lyric poem, and a Bishop-inspired poem.

I feel this portfolio demonstrates the progress I have made in the last 3 1/2 months. I have moved away from concentrating in blank verse. In fact, none of these pieces demonstrate any intended meter and should be regarded as simply meditations of a life lived.
